Dr. Mark earned his Doctor of Chiropractic in 1999 from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, after completing his undergraduate degree from the University of Winnipeg. Within a year of graduating from chiropractic college, Dr. Mark opened Sunset Country Chiropractic in Kenora and has been caring for patients in the Kenora region for over 25 years. Dr. Mark utilizes diversified chiropractic adjustments as well as low force techniques such as activator and drop-table adjustments. As needed, he may also employ other complementary therapies to adjusting such as laser therapy, soft tissue techniques, electrotherapy, and heat and/or cold treatment. If there are other supportive modalities required to meet each patient’s specific needs, such as exercise therapy, nutritional counselling or custom orthotics, Dr. Mark will provide these services as well. Originally from Winnipeg, Dr. Mark now calls Kenora home along with his wife Cori and his two sons- Nick and Ben.

In his free time, you will find Dr. Mark on the water chasing the finned creatures of Northwestern Ontario or puttering around camp in Sioux Narrows.

Dr. Owen Stebnitsky grew up in Kenora, Ontario, where his connection to sport and community began at a young age. His involvement in multiple sports, including several years with the Kenora Thistles, helped shape both his appreciation for athletic performance and his understanding of injury, recovery, and long-term health.

Dr. Owen attended the University of Manitoba, where he earned a Bachelor of Science while playing two years of junior hockey. He went on to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with a Sports and Rehabilitation Emphasis at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. Graduating summa cum laude, his training reflects a strong commitment to academic and clinical excellence. During his time at Northwestern Health Sciences University, he pursued extensive continuing education coursework in musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment approaches. He was heavily involved with the Motion Palpation Institute (MPI), serving as a student representative for two years.

Dr. Owen takes an integrated approach to treatment, combining various assessment and manual therapy techniques with rehabilitation and corrective exercises tailored to individual needs. From everyday activities to sport, Dr. Owen supports patients in achieving their personal goals and returning to the activities they enjoy.
